Access is possible daily from 7.00 am to 22.30 h

From 22.30 - 07.00 you can no longer pass with your vehicle. We ask you to use the designated parking areas in front of the entrance.

All sanitary buildings, the information office and also the restaurant Herr Fröhlich are accessible without steps. Disabled toilets and bathrooms are located in each sanitary building. (No Euro key required.) You can reach our barrier-free holiday flats via a lift. Further information on request.

All our permanent and seasonal pitches are taken. We have a recording stop! There is no waiting list.

The information desk is only responsible for booking changes and currently also for additional payments and concerns during your stay.
We kindly ask for your understanding!

The number of parking spaces in front of the campsite is limited. Please drive directly to your pitch and then check in at the terminal or via the web app.

IMPORTANT!
The availability of the reserved pitches is guaranteed from 13.00 p.m.
We recommend that you plan your arrival accordingly.

Early arrivals and late departures are not possible!

Arrivals are possible until 22.30. See also "late arrivals".

In the low season (16.10. to 31.03.) you are welcome to arrive earlier.

After office hours, the access cards are in the key safe in the corridor between reception and the restaurant. Use the last 4 digits of your reservation number as the code.

At sanitary building 1 there is a Camper Clean machine for automatic cleaning of toilet cassettes (emptying and cleaning and refiling with chemical fluid). You need a 2 EUR coin or a token (available at the information desk). Suitable for common Thetford cassettes.

Cost: 2 EUR per cleaning

(high chair, baby cot): Available free of charge on request. Please specify when booking or contact information desk.

For baby cot: please bring pillow and blanket

You will find branches of the Sparkasse and Volksbank in the centre of Kirchzarten.

There is no bicycle rental at the campsite.

You can rent a bike in Kirchzarten at Intersport Eckmann (10 minutes' walk from the campsite) to hire bicycles etc.
There are alternatives in Freiburg, e.g. Sport Kiefer

Bookings are made exclusively via our online booking system.
For all other bookings (by telephone or e-mail) there is a € 10.00 reservation fee per booking/reservation. Therefore, please use the great possibility to book via our online booking system.

There you can:
a) Check availability and prices yourself and then make a reservation for a fee.
b) Use the interactive map to find a free pitch yourself.

Only one car with tent or caravan or only one motorhome is possible per pitch!

Confirm our general terms and conditions, data protection and read our booking conditions ( GTC) carefully.

Choose whether you would like to pay a deposit or the total amount. For bookings less than € 200.00 and short-term bookings less than 10 days before arrival, the total amount is due immediately.

You will then be redirected to our payment partner (VIVEUM) and can make your payment there (Paypal, VISA, MasterCard or Instant Bank Transfer by Klarna).

After successful payment, you will receive a written booking confirmation.

Cancellation is free of charge up to 21 days before the start of the rental period.

20 days to 7 days before the start of the rental period 50 % of the total amount will be retained
6 days to 2 days before the start of the rental period 80 % of the total amount will be retained.
From 1 day before the start of the rental period and in case of no-show, 100 % of the total amount will be retained.
 
The pitch fee will not be refunded in the event of early departure

The exchange and purchase of gas cylinders is possible on site during office opening hours.

We offer the exchange of gray steel gas cylinders with 5 and 11 kg, as well as 11 kg aluminum gas cylinders.

Please ask for current prices at the information desk or see the monitors in the sanitary buildings.

Only one car is allowed per parking space/rental accommodation. An additional car can be parked free of charge on the swimming pool's parking area. See site plan.

There is no charging station for electric vehicles on the site.

Charging of electric cars as well as plug-in hybrids is not permitted on the entire camping park area.

There is a charging station in Kirchzarten Ortsmitte (address: Friedhofstraße 15, 79199 Kirchzarten). Open around the clock. Type 2, 11.0 kW, 2 total.

Departures from pitches have to be made until 11:00 am.

Please also think of the next guests and leave the pitch as you found it. Thank you very much!

Rental accommodations and rental bathrooms are to be left by 10:00 am.

The rental accommodations are to be left broom-clean. The garbage should be emptied.

In case you leave before office hours please drop off the keys at the mail box at the reception door.

Information on this can be found under the item "Disposal of faeces".

For children, we offer a varied programme of activities at our campsite during the Whitsun holidays (Baden-Württemberg) and the summer holidays (usually from mid-July to early September) - lovingly put together for you.

The current programme is always posted on Bobo's hut on the playground. Please note that it may vary depending on the weather.

In addition to electricity, comfort pitches have their own water and waste water connection directly at the pitch. Otherwise, they do not differ in quality and equipment from the other pitches.

Comfort pitches are available in pitch size cat. 1, cat. 2 and cat. 3.

All pitches have electricity (electricity distribution boxes). As usual in the EU 230 V.

You draw the power from a CEE connection (16 amps). Please bring along adapters for camping plugs CEE 230V 3-pole in blue.

Adapters can be purchased at the information desk, extension cables can be borrowed against a deposit. Only while stocks last.

Air conditioning and heating must be registered and may be charged according to consumption (0.7 EUR/kWh).


Our comfort pitches also have water and waste water connections.

You can use the dirty water connection via a hose with a diameter of 40 mm or 100 mm. Seats 329, 330, 331, 332 only 40 mm!

The water connection is standard, as you know it from home.

We cannot provide you with a hose and connection for the water tap.

We offer our guests gastro dishwashers from the EasyBe company in every sanitary/kitchen building for convenient and quick dishwashing (fast cycle approx. 3 minutes). This service is free of charge for our guests! In this way you help us to save water.

Our guests have several options for waste disposal:

• At your own site with disposal facilities (comfort pitches).
• Sanitary 1: Disposal machine (Camper Clean) for a fee (2 EUR/cleaning); chemical WC (with black/grey water disposal basin & fresh water)
• Sanitary 3: Disposal machine (Camper Clean) for a fee (2 EUR/cleaning); drive-over disposal to refuel fresh water and drain grey water; Disposal machine (Camper Clean) for a fee (2 EUR/cleaning); chemical WC (with black/grey water disposal basin & fresh water)
• Sanitary 4: drive-over disposal to refuel fresh water and drain grey water; chemical WC (with black/grey water disposal basin & fresh water)

Dogs are very welcome here. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per pitch.

The installation of dog fences on the pitches is permitted, even requested.

The Kirchzarten campsite has a dog shower. See site plan.

Dogs must be kept on a lead on the entire site.

We have also placed several bag dispensers for dog waste bags on the site. Please do not leave the bags lying around after use, but dispose of them in one of the numerous rubbish bins on the site or along the popular walking routes.

Dogs are allowed in the camping restaurant "Herr Fröhlich". Please notify us when making a table reservation.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the neighbouring Dreisam(frei)bad.

Dogs/pets are no longer allowed in our rental accommodation since 2022.

The owner is entitled to exercise domiciliary rights, i.e. he may refuse to admit persons or to refuse to admit persons or to expel guests from the site without giving reasons. The most recent edition of the GTC shall apply.

In the event of a smell of burning, smoke or fire, please call the fire station directly on 112. For medical emergencies, call 116 117. The police can be reached on 110.

(No +49 / 0049 before the phone number is needed!)

On the pitches from category 2, you can pitch an additional tent to the caravan or motorhome for a fee, provided you comply with the limits of your pitch.

The pitching of the tent must be registered at the information desk.

Barbecues (gas, electric or charcoal) are generally allowed on our pitches.

Please make sure you have something nearby to extinguish it and remove any gas bottles that may be standing around.

We also ask you to be considerate of your neighbours. Barbecues are permitted until 10.30 pm.

Open fires (e.g. fire bowls, campfires, Swedish fires) are not permitted!

Barbecuing on the balconies/roof terraces in the holiday flats or in the holiday room is also not permitted!

For all other rental accommodation (at ground level), the same regulations apply as for the pitches.

Note: We also offer rental grills (charcoal grill) for a fee. Please ask at the information desk. Please bring your own charcoal or alternatively, you can buy it in our supermarket.

There is a well-marked fire extinguisher at every street light on the campsite and near the emergency exits in the buildings. Please refer to the site plan.

A freezer for fridge batteries is available free of charge to all guests in each sanitary.

After bad experiences in recent years, we unfortunately no longer accept group bookings.
The well-being of all guests is very important to us, which was massively impaired by a few groups.

For us, a group is more than 2 people of one generation without family affiliation. Such bookings can be cancelled by us at any time.

Couples who would like to spend a relaxing time with us together with another couple can view and book pitches together via our "Online booking platform".


In addition to the general site rules, the following applies:

The erection of gazebos is prohibited.

Furniture may not be moved in the rental accommodation.

We are a quiet campsite and are considerate of all guests.

Bringing loudspeakers/music boxes is not welcome. These will be kept in safekeeping until departure.

No music or loud conversation is permitted after 10.00 p.m., and after 12.00 p.m. only whispered conversations (at tent volume) are permitted.

Cleanliness and order are important to us. Please dispose of rubbish regularly in the rubbish bin.

Underage persons are strictly forbidden to drink alcohol (immediate expulsion if disregarded).

In principle, alcohol should only be consumed in moderation and should never be left lying around openly on the site (even without contents).

However, the campsite management regularly exercises domiciliary rights in the event of non-compliance. Guests who do not abide by the rules can be expelled from the campsite at any time!

The use of electrically operated fan heaters in caravans and mobile homes is not allowed. Please only heat with your gas-powered heating systems. Exceptions to this only apply if no other heating system is installed (e.g. in tents!)

The information desk is open daily from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 h in the high season (01.04.-15.10.).

In the low season (16.10.-31.03.) we open daily from 09:00 to 12:00 h.

Note: However, you can arrive daily until 22:30 h!

The chargeable "internal cancellation insurance" allows cancellation free of charge up to 1 day before the start of the rental period.

There is no entitlement to a refund in the event of early departure. In case of cancellation within 1 to 21 days before the start of the rental period, the fee for the internal cancellation insurance will be retained.

Please note that this is not a travel cancellation insurance!

Wifi : From 2022 we will no longer offer wifi for our guests.

Background / complaints

We have done a lot with regard to WLAN, expanded it again and again and invested a lot of money in a functioning campsite-wide WLAN network. Nevertheless, we receive complaints again and again (no reception, too slow, always interrupts, does not work, etc.). We were disillusioned to discover that under the given circumstances we cannot provide our guests with the WLAN/Wifi service in the quality and stability that we and our guests desire. We have therefore summoned up all our courage and decided not to offer WLAN to our camping guests from 2022 onwards. This does not result in any legal claims for reimbursement! We will continue to offer free Wi-Fi in our rental accommodation.

If you lose an item, please contact the cleaning team or information desk. If you find something yourself, please hand it in at information desk.

Late departures after 11 am are generally not permitted.

Subject to availability, you are welcome to depart later on your scheduled departure day or the following day for the cost of an extra night.

Please check availability on our website or come to information before 11 am on the depature day.

If you arrive after office hours, please check in at our self check in terminal at the entrance (you will need your booking number that you find in your booking confirmation) and drive to your pitch. The power boxes are open. Electricity is switched on.

You have booked a rental property (accommodation/bathroom) with us and the information office is closed? The key is deposited for you in our key box between the information office and the restaurant. Please use the last 4 digits of your reservation number as the code.

Lounges are not available at the moment.

At the information office - daily emptying (except Sundays).

Stamps (domestic and internationl) are also available at the information office.

Since 01.01.2020, we have adapted our terms and conditions and changed to prepayment. You will receive a payment request with the reservation to make a deposit of 100 EUR to guarantee the booking. This converts your booking into a firm booking. We ask you to transfer the remaining amount at the latest 21 days before arrival.

Short-term bookings (less than 10 days) as well as booking amounts below 200 EUR are due immediately.

You can also conveniently make your remaining payments via our online payment service. Payment methods: instant bank transfer (Klarna) or credit card. All you need is your booking number (= reservation number). You will find this in the reservation confirmation.


Spontaneous guests pay for their stay on arrival.

A reservation is always recommended during holiday periods/holidays. Please book online!

An extension is only possible if the place has not already been reserved by another guest. We will be happy to look for other free places for you. Please contact us.

You can pay conveniently in cash, by EC card or by credit card (MasterCard, VISA). ATTENTION: Only cash payment is possible in the camping market.

We have different pitch sizes, with all sizes spread around the site. There are no specific areas for a particular category. The sizes are up to specifications, whereby the sizes are rounded up. This means that a 68 m² pitch is categorised as up to 70 m².

The pitch sizes include trees and planting.

We offer the following pitch sizes at Camping Kirchzarten:
up to 70 m² (cat. 1), up to 90 m² (cat. 2), up to 110 m² (cat. 3), from 111m² (cat. 4)

Our site has twelve rental bathrooms for private use.

Eight private bathrooms (category 1) in sanitary building 3 next to the playground and four rental bathrooms (category 2) in the "new" sanitary building 2.

The rented bathrooms are each equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet.

Departure is to take place by 10:00 a.m. so that the rental accommodation can be cleaned for subsequent guests.

The rented accommodation is to be handed over in a tidy and swept clean condition. Dishes must be washed and left clean.

Note: Please do not switch on the dishwashers in the holiday flats and mobile homes until departure. The programmes usually run for 2-3 hours, which delays the cleaning process considerably!

Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. (Pillows and duvets as well).

There are Senseo pad machines in our rental accommodations.

Pets are no longer allowed since 2022.

Please note that all rental accommodation is non-smoking.

For culinary enjoyment, our restaurant Herr Fröhlich is at your disposal.

Enjoy to your heart's delight from our selection of classic and traditional dishes or delicious vegetarian creations in the cosy restaurant, on the large garden terrace or under the covered porch.

Walking speed and the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply throughout the campsite. Safety is the highest priority! Please note the limited winter service during the winter season.

Our rental accommodations are smoke-free. This also applies to all sanitary and multi-purpose buildings. In case of non-compliance, we will charge you an additional cleaning fee of € 300.00.

There is a small supermarket on the site where you can find the essentials. The market is located next to the information building. The opening hours of the camping market change. Bread rolls can be ordered the day before. A fresh counter with sandwiches and breakfast service. ATTENTION ! Only cash payment possible in the market. Current opening hours:

Support our commitment through environmentally conscious and sustainable behaviour. Separate rubbish, save water and switch off the lights and air conditioning when you leave the rental accommodation. Of course, the same applies to your own motorhome or caravan.

We rely on the awareness of our guests, who can help to further advance camping as a holiday form as a driver of sustainable travel.

The Dreisam outdoor pool is located right next to the campsite. Its use is free of charge for you as a guest of Camping Kirchzarten. You will receive the entrance tickets upon arrival. For opening hours and information, see:

The tennis court of the Grün-Weiß Kirchzarten tennis club is about 650 m from the campsite. There is no access via the campsite.

Upon request, you will receive your personal guest card at check-in. With this card you can use all public transport (bus, train and tram) in the entire Black Forest free of charge.

There are washing machines and tumble dryers in each of our 3 sanitary buildings, which can be used for a fee.

You can get the tokens at our token machine at sanitary building 1 in the entrance area of the campsite.

costs 1 washing coin / token = 4 EUR

1 token is for 1 time washing or drying, regardless of the duration of the selected washing/drying programme.

There are three waste collection points on the campsite (see site plan). Please note the information on waste separation.

Bulky waste must be disposed of by the guest at home at the local recycling centre.

Our wellness therapist Mrs. Wüst offers her massages at the campsite every Tuesday and Wednesday from May to September. Please book in good time. Treatments can be arranged directly in writing by Whatsapp 0049 176 / 707 99 116 or with Ms Wüst. Booking via the information desk is not possible.
